Family & Couples Programs

Something Is Shifting in Your House. Let's Talk About It.

AWE's couples and family coaching programs help you and the people you love build habits that actually make room for connection.

Rebuilding connection, together

6
Wellness Pillars

It starts so small you barely notice it. A phone on the dinner table. A conversation interrupted by a notification. A movie night where everyone's on a second screen. You glance over at the person you chose to build a life with and realize you've been in the same room for two hours without saying anything real.

With kids, it's a different version of the same thing. You ask them about their day and get one-word answers while their thumbs keep moving. You set a screen time limit and it turns into the same argument every single night.

None of this means your relationship is broken. It means your environment changed faster than your habits did. The devices arrived, the boundaries didn't, and now the distance feels normal even though it shouldn't.

That gap is exactly where AWE steps in.

What These Programs Look Like

Coaching Built Around Your Relationship, Not a Textbook

AWE's couples and family programs aren't therapy sessions. They aren't about diagnosing what's wrong with your relationship or assigning blame for who's on their phone too much. They're about helping you and the people you love build a shared set of habits that actually make room for connection.

Your AWE coach works with you as a unit. Together, you'll look at how technology shows up in your daily life, where it's quietly replacing conversation, presence, and quality time, and what you can do about it starting this week.

For couples, that might look like identifying the moments where screens are stealing your evenings and designing rituals that protect your time together. For families, the work often starts with understanding each person's relationship with their devices.

Sessions happen virtually or in person, on a schedule that fits your life. Most families and couples start with a free consultation to talk through what they're experiencing and figure out the best path forward.

Who This Is For

You Don't Have to Be in Crisis to Want Something Better

You don't have to be in crisis to want something better.

Some of our most successful clients came to us simply because they could feel the drift happening and wanted to stop it before it became something bigger. That awareness is a strength, not a weakness.

What We Work On

Five Things That Change.

⏰

Reclaiming Quality Time

You'll identify the specific moments where technology is replacing connection, and build deliberate habits that protect those windows. Not generic advice. Real structures designed around how your household actually functions.

💬

Communication Without Conflict

Talking about digital habits in a relationship is hard. Your coach gives you a framework for having these conversations productively, so both people feel heard and the outcome is a plan, not a fight.

📋

Family Agreements That Actually Stick

AWE helps your family co-create agreements based on your values, your kids' developmental needs, and the realities of your schedule. When everyone has a voice in building the boundaries, everyone has a reason to respect them.

👤

Individual Patterns Within the Unit

Every person in your family has their own relationship with technology. AWE coaching addresses each person's habits within the context of the whole family, so the plan works for everyone.

🧠

Rebuilding Presence and Attention

The most valuable thing you can give someone you love is your full attention. Your coach helps you practice being present again, not as an abstract concept but as a daily, measurable habit.

How It Works

Four Steps to Real Change.

1

Book a Free Consultation

A 20-minute call where you share what's going on in your relationship or family. No forms, no intake process, no clinical language. Just an honest conversation about where things stand.

2

Meet Your Coach and Build Your Plan

Your AWE coach designs a personalized program. Couples get a couples-focused plan. Families get a family-focused plan. Every program reflects your specific dynamics, goals, and schedule.

3

Start Your Sessions

Meet weekly or biweekly, virtually or in person. Each session gives you practical tools to use immediately. Your coach tracks progress and adjusts the plan as needed.

4

Live It

The goal isn't to stay in coaching forever. It's to build habits and communication patterns that sustain themselves long after your sessions end. Most couples and families feel a noticeable shift within three to four sessions.

The truth

The first step is always the same. One conversation. That's all it takes to start.

We're not your therapist. We're your coach.

AWE coaches are trained wellness professionals who specialize in digital habits, behavioral patterns, and the intersection of technology with daily life. Because it's coaching, not therapy, there's no stigma attached. No insurance paperwork. No waiting lists.

What Makes AWE Different

We're Not Your Therapist. We're Your Coach.

Therapy has its place, and AWE respects that deeply. But not everything requires clinical intervention. Sometimes what a relationship needs isn't a diagnosis. It's a strategy.

AWE coaches are trained wellness professionals who specialize in digital habits, behavioral patterns, and the intersection of technology with daily life. They understand the unique pressures that screens put on modern relationships, and they bring practical, non-clinical tools that create change you can see and feel.

Because AWE covers six pillars of wellness, your coach can also address the anxiety that's driving late-night scrolling, the focus issues making your partner seem distant, or the emotional patterns that surface when someone's device habits get called out. You get a complete picture, not a narrow one.

What Families & Couples Say

From People Who've Done the Work.

We almost didn't book the call. We thought, 'It's just phones, it's not that serious.' Four sessions later, we're having the best conversations we've had in years. It was that serious. We just didn't realize it.

Amanda & Chris T.
Couple

Our family used to have the same screen time argument every single evening. Now we have a family agreement that the kids helped create, and the fighting has basically stopped. I wish we'd found AWE a year ago.

Rebecca L.
Mother of Three

My husband and I were drifting apart and neither of us could explain why. Our coach helped us see how our evening routine had become two people on separate devices in the same room. We completely redesigned our evenings, and it changed everything.

Priya & Daniel S.
Couple

The family sessions gave my teenager permission to be honest about why he was on his phone so much. I expected to hear 'because it's fun.' What I actually heard opened a conversation we needed to have years ago.

Common Questions

What People Ask Before Booking.

Is this therapy or counseling?

No. AWE provides complete wellness coaching. We don't diagnose, prescribe, or provide clinical treatment. If you're currently in therapy, AWE coaching works beautifully alongside it by addressing the daily habits and digital patterns that therapy often doesn't have time to cover.

Can we do sessions as a couple without our kids?

Absolutely. Couples-only sessions are one of our most popular formats. If family sessions make sense down the line, your coach can help you decide when and how to bring your kids into the conversation.

What ages are appropriate for family sessions?

Most family sessions work well with children ages eight and up. For younger children, your coach will typically work with the parents first and provide strategies you can implement at home. Your free consultation is the best place to figure out the right approach.

How many sessions will we need?

It depends on your goals and your starting point. Many couples and families experience meaningful progress in four to six sessions. Others choose ongoing coaching to reinforce habits over time. There's no minimum commitment.

What if only one person in the relationship wants to do this?

That's more common than you think. One partner or parent often takes the lead. Your coach can work with you individually first, and in many cases, the other person joins once they see the early results. Change in one person shifts the dynamic for everyone.

What does it cost?

Pricing varies based on session type, frequency, and whether you're doing couples or full-family programming. Your free consultation is the best way to get specific numbers tailored to your situation.

Are sessions available in languages other than English?

Yes. AWE offers coaching in English and French.
